This is Madam Akuvi Kpormashie from Atiavi, a village in the Keta. She is an old lady of 70 couldn’t see for the pass 3years. She is suffering from cataract of her two eyes for those passed 3 years. Recently when she visited New Look Optical Works at Keta for spectacle, they adviced her to be operated because spectacle can't help her if she is given one.
Thanks to Emefa foundation she could be operated. The doctors have operated one of the eye and it left with the second eye, that will be done during the doctors next visit somewhere in march. Now the old lady can see and she is grateful to the Emefa foundation.
Mister Korku, Mister Gamor and Mister Moses Y. Amenu are the three beneficiary of Emefa's foundation. They're all living in the Keta. They've hear about the foundation through a friend who benefited from the emefa foundation last year. Mister Korku is fisherman and has 5 children and Mister Gamor and Mister Amenu are retired teachers. There are very grateful to the people of the Emefa Foundation for taking care of their bill.
Mister Selce Alugbafe and Madam Melody Tsormanya are the two patient who where reported for the cataract and glaucoma operation respectively during the next visit of the eye doctors. They're both peasant farmers from a village in the Keta Municipal, and are given eye drops to be used. Their hope is that the Emefa Foundation would come to their aid when the doctors are in, meanwhile they're very grateful to the foundation for paying for their drugs which cost so much.
Madam Melody and Madam Mavis Kudexa are the beneficiaries of the Emefa Foundantion. They were operated on there eyes and can now see well. Melody is from a fishing community at Anloga and Mavis live at Woe, a villege in Keta municipal. They are both fishmorgars. That means that they buy fish from the fishermen, smoke it and resale it on the market. Melody is a mother of 6 children and Mavis is a mother of 4. Because of the their eye problems, looking after their children became a problem. Now thanks to the Emefa Foundation for coming to their aid, assisting them to regain their sight. They are so grateful to the foundation for paying for their operation.
